Despite the rain today there are still plenty of people cycling which was great. At the traffic lights on Trafalgar St. I came across a friend of mine, Deborah, who rides an original 'Raleigh 20' which I'd been talking about with another friend just the night before. It was a really nice coincidence and a nice chance meeting. It got me thinking about the interactions you have on a bike that you don't have in a car. Just minutes before I'd been chatting away at the lights with a complete stranger about my tandem and then shortly after, a nice long chat with Deborah, so she had to be the Face of the Day.
